Our Mission

At the Center for Service-Learning, our commitment to engaging students in challenging academic work and the promotion of the common good as understood in our Catholic, Benedictine tradition motivates us to facilitate the implementation of service-learning for the faculty, students, and community partners of Benedictine College.

Our Vision

Establishing a service-learning program renowned for its academic rigor, authentic and mutually transformative encounters with the community, and accessibility to faculty and students.

Our History

The Center for Service-Learning at Benedictine College became a reality in June of 2016 thanks to the vision and dedication of numerous individuals and institutions, including many members of the Benedictine faculty who have used service-learning for years.
